As far as players being able to do the challenge as many times as they want to improve the time is like cheating. Say you complete the puzzle in 5mins. Cool! Well now you know the pieces and the puzzle and of course the second time you can put it together faster. Thats like taking a test and after the test you got an 80% and the teacher tells you, dont worry about this score, take the test again and be better now that you know the answers. I just think it's unfair!
Him and I want your opinion do you think its cheating that you can upgrade your score, if you do believe it is then I will not let you upgrade in future challenges.

Thanks for putting this back up after you deleted it before anyone else got a chance to read it.

I got the impression that this challenge was allowing playing to edit and redo the challenge...I didn't really read the rules closely though, since I'm not participating in this challenge, but I think that if you want to make a challenge authentic to how it is in real life it needs to be pre-designed in such a manner, and that is fully at your discretion to do so hosty!
So really, it comes down to you, not us. That's my opinion.

I agree with Benry. Even if you just allow a puzzle to be for 24 hours there is no way you can tell if the time or score someone submits would be their first attempt or say their 10th attempt. So if you want authenticity then every challenge should be a live challenge if they are puzzle. But in the end Brad you are in charge of this game so what ever you decide we will all have to live with it. But personally I don't think there is anything wrong with doing puzzles multiple times to get your best time or score just maybe you should only allow them to have one post and once they post they can't change it.

Yea, I think if you're gonna try to regulate puzzles the best you could do is allow only one post, with no editing. Even though people can still try to beat their previous scores, eventually they have to gamble that they won't do better.

i don't see anything wrong with that personally. the host is responsible for making the challenges, and he can choose whatever rules he wants for them. as long as the rules are the same for both tribes and don't give one tribe an advantage over the other tribe, i don't see how it's unfair or cheating.
and like one-legged kelly said, you could do puzzles as many times as you wanted before posting it, so what's the difference between that and posting it then upgrading your score if you did better?

I don't think it's cheating because we all have the opportunity to redo it however many times we wish. Also, Kelly B. and Shannon are right about refraining from posting your first result.

What do you do before you take a test in order to try and get a good score on it? You study for it. Essentially, that's the same thing with people being able to have more than one attempt. Practice makes perfect as they say.. It's like with a puzzle, people practice with it in order to get used to where the pieces are supposed to go, that way they can get a faster time . Most people anyways in challenges like this don't ever use their first-ever puzzle times because they feel that they can do a lot better than a first attempt. Personally, it's not cheating because we gave both tribes an equal chance to attempt as much as they wished if they got a better score. Cheating in my eyes, would be like us going "Okay, Espada, you can attempt as much as you want to beat La Flor, but La Flor can only try once." (Just an example here lol).
Even in Survivor, the castaways do get to practice the challenge before they actually attempt it, just what we are shown on the episodes are the actual attempts and not the practice rounds.

ah right practice is good but in the real survivor you have only one time to do the challange no redues no edits or modifys I played in a game where the host states in his rules that there is no modifing edits or deletions aloud in a challenge that would be cheating just saying
